CMWU continues to operate Al-Manshiya Desalination Plant in Gaza City, with a production capacity of 47 cubic meters per hour, to provide residents and displaced people with safe drinking water through CMWU water tankers. This contributes to alleviating the impact of the water crisis amid the disruption of Mekorot water supplies to the city.
CMWU’s technical teams also continue to carry out regular maintenance of desalination plants operated by CMWU and municipalities across the Gaza Strip, to maintain their efficiency and ensure continued operation within the available resources.
