Vision, mission and values

The Coastal Municipalities Water Utility works from a clear strategic direction: a vision that sets where it is heading, a mission that defines what it does today, and values that govern its conduct and decisions at every level.

Vision

To be the leading national institution in providing water and wastewater services in accordance with the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability, meeting community needs and contributing to the protection of water resources and the environment.

Mission

To provide integrated and environmentally safe water and wastewater services to the population of the Gaza Strip in accordance with quality, efficiency, and sustainability standards, through effective management of available resources, the adoption of innovative solutions, infrastructure development, and the strengthening of partnerships, in a manner that meets community needs and protects public health and the environment.

How these values are applied

These values are reflected in day-to-day practice: publishing project and tender information for public review, monitoring water quality against approved standards, receiving subscriber reports and following them through to closure, and documenting partner-funded expenditure under the monitoring arrangements agreed with them.
