Do we hold data about you?

The CMWU website and the "CMWU Website News" app collect no data from your Facebook account, and the website has no Facebook login. If you only interacted with our posts on Facebook, that data is held by Facebook and can be deleted from your account settings there.

The only data we may hold is what you sent us yourself through the website:

• "Contact us" messages: name, email, phone (optional), subject and message.
• Newsletter subscription: email address, language and subscription date.

How to request deletion

1. Email info@cmwu.ps with the subject "Data deletion request".
2. State the email address or name you used when you contacted us or subscribed, and what you want deleted.
3. We will reply to confirm the request is from you, then delete your data and confirm by email.

We complete the request within 30 days of confirming your identity.

Unsubscribing from the newsletter

You can unsubscribe immediately using the link at the foot of every newsletter message, without contacting us. The subscription record is permanently erased if you ask for that using the steps above.

What we may keep

We may keep what the law or CMWU procedures require us to keep, such as correspondence relating to a formal complaint. In that case we will tell you why.
